In 1999 I spent Christmas with my one month daughter. In 2005 I lost my dad, my house and my best friend. We spend every Christmas with granny and paw paw. We always have great time.

My most memorable Christmas was 1985 when I took my Texas fiance home to meet my family in Wisconsin.They had a record snowfall that year and the drifts were over our heads.We all had a great time and best of all my Mother approved of my fiance now my wife of 25 years!

One Christmas coming back from Christmas Eve Services and Dad came in and said he saw Santa outside and my brother, I and Dad went upstairs to look out the windows to see Santa. While downstairs Mom and an Aunt were hustling around putting out our Christmas toys that Santa had dropped off.

When I was child the best part of Christmas was always Christmas morning. presents were stacked under the tree and grandparents were in for the holidays...the baking and cooking left delicious smells...but most of all we were all together and everyone just loved each other!

I remember my grandfather bringing my brother and I our first transistor radios for Christmas in 1956. I also remember how my parents were away at a party for Christmas and I locked my brother age 4 up in the cold attic to see where Santa Claus had left his presents...of course I fixed myself ... going to the tree farm and cutting down our own tree, then spending the time to decorate it as a family. We used to do this with 3 to 4 families and it was a great way to start the Holiday season.
