| I have been making quilts for family friends as something physical to remember me by. My best memory was last Christmas (2009) when I finished 2 quilts for my daughters and 2 quilts for my grandsons. The looks on their faces was priceless. |

My Father went out the shop, found an ol... MORE |

| I loved the holidays because it meant making cookies with my son. He had no interest in the kitchen until Christmas when we would make up a big batch of sugar cookie dough and then we would bring out the very special cookie cutters, sprinkles, and icings. | When I was a child, many years ago, my family was poor; but we kids didn't know it. Our parents always reminded us to do for those less fortunate.
